When it comes to the Green Bay Packers’ wide receivers, only one name really stands out, Davante Adams. He’s been one of the most consistent pass catchers in football for the past few seasons.
Adams has played in 27 games over the past two seasons, and he’s scored at least 16 PPR points in 23 of them. He’s been Aaron Rodgers’ most reliable target and he’s been one of the only difference makers the Packers have had at wideout over the past few seasons.
Despite missing four games last season, Adams still finished with 127 targets on the season, which is an average of just over 10 per game in the 12 games in suited up for. The next two closest in targets were running back Aaron Jones and tight end Jimmy Graham, who both finished with under 70.
Wide receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison combined for 111 targets, 16 less than Adams had alone. There’s no doubt who Rodgers favorite target is, and there’s little chance that it changes in 2020.
