2. Ezekiel Elliott
Ezekiel Elliott is among the select few of running backs that has been able to avoid injuries thus far in his career with the Dallas Cowboys. Given his ability to remain healthy, that alone makes him one of the safest picks in fantasy football.
In his fourth season with the Cowboys, Elliott accumulated 311.7 fantasy points during the 2019 campaign (third-most among running backs). Despite the fact that Dallas added CeeDee Lamb, Elliott should continue being a dual-threat option for the Cowboys.
If anything, having another capable wide receiver in the offense should open things up a bit more for Elliott in 2020. Taking everything into account, there’s no doubt that Elliott should be one of the first players taken in fantasy football drafts later this year.
