Of course, when ranking the top-five PPR running backs in fantasy football, it is assumed that each of these running backs are able to remain healthy. Given that, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings cracks the list.
This past season, Cook was able to score a total of 292.4 fantasy points (sixth-most among running backs). In addition, he was the only other running back — besides Christian McCaffrey — to average more than 20 fantasy points per game in fantasy football.
Seeing that Stefon Diggs is no longer with the Vikings, Cook could see even more touches than the 303 that he received in 2019. With Minnesota trending toward being a run-first offense, Cook should be able to finish as a top-five PPR running back in 2020.
