1. Aaron Rodgers Receives MVP Votes

Accolades are nothing new to Aaron Rodgers. During his career, Rodgers has been named to eight Pro Bowls and two First-Team All-Pro’s. He also has a Super Bowl ring and a Super Bowl MVP award. To top it all off, No. 12 has been named league MVP twice. In 2020, he could get another vote under his belt.

Let’s not downplay the difficulty of getting an MVP vote. Lamar Jackson was named the unanimous winner in 2020. There is usually about two to four players that receive votes on any given year. Russell Wilson has never received an MVP vote. Rodgers was last named MVP in 2014 when he threw for 38 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Rodgers is still playing at an extremely high level and has the ability to put those numbers up again.

Rodgers has thrown for 4,000 yards in each of the last two seasons. His touchdown production has been down throwing for 51 combined, but he has thrown just six interceptions in his last 32 starts. Rodgers is the best in the game at not turning the ball over.

Despite drafting Love in the first round, the Packers still believe Rodgers has some left. In LaFleur’s offense with a strong backfield and what could be a breakout tight end, Rodgers could be in for yet another MVP caliber season.
