The Indianapolis Colts remain seriously interested in Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, according to Destin Adams of A to Z Sports.

This is the second time that Adams has reported on the Colts’ interest in Jeudy, so there seems like a decent chance something could get done between Indianapolis and Denver ahead of the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline.

The Broncos are just 1-5 this season, and all indications are they will be looking to sell off some pieces over the next couple of weeks. Jeudy is considered one of the club’s prime trade candidates.

Jeudy has been a bit of a disappointment since being selected by Denver with the 15th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, as he has yet to register a 1,000-yard campaign.

That isn’t to say Jeudy hasn’t been productive. He had a solid rookie year, catching 52 passes for 856 yards and three touchdowns. Last season, he enjoyed his best season to date, hauling in 67 receptions for 972 yards and six scores.

Plus, Jeudy is just 24 years old, so there is certainly time for him to grow and develop.

The Colts could absolutely use another wide out in a receiving corps that already includes Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs.

Indianapolis has gotten off to a 3-3 start this season and is very much alive in the winnable AFC South. The Colts are currently in a tie for second place in the division after losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend. The Jaguars are in first place at 4-2, and unfortunately for Indy, Jacksonville has completed the season sweep of the Colts, meaning the Jags hold the tiebreaker.

Still, there is plenty of time for Indianapolis to right the ship, and swinging a trade for a receiver like Jerry Jeudy to bolster the aerial attack would be a great start.
