Jets: 3 early goals for running back Le’Veon Bell in 2020

1,800+ yards from scrimmage

Just this past season, Bell finished with just 1,250 yards from scrimmage and four total touchdowns. While 1,250 scrimmage yards would be impressive for some running backs, that is a bit underwhelming for a running back of Bell’s caliber.

As a matter of fact, his 1,250 scrimmage yards with the Jets in 2019 is the second-lowest mark of his career. The only year he produced fewer than 1,250 yards from scrimmage came in 2015 — when he missed 10 games with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With that in mind, Bell is unquestionably looking to return to being one of the most dynamic running backs in the NFL again. Given his prowess as a runner and receiver, Bell should make it a goal to contribute 1,800 yards from scrimmage with the Jets in 2020. It would be the first year he amassed 1,800+ yards from scrimmage since 2017.
