Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins are facing a lot of questions after their Week 7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dolphins fell to the defending NFC champions by a score of 31-17 on Sunday night, marking their second loss to a good team this season.

Miami is 5-2, but all five of its wins have come against teams currently below .500. As a matter of fact, the combined record of the five clubs the Dolphins have beaten this season is 8-25.

Not only that, but Miami’s two losses to winning teams—the other coming at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in Week 4—have been by a combined score of 79-37.

Following the Dolphins’ loss to the Eagles, wide receiver Tyreek Hill took to social media to make a vow to the fans in South Beach.

It’s a pretty wild statement from Hill, given that he was hardly the reason why Miami fell to Philadelphia. During the defeat, the speedy wide out logged 11 catches for 88 yards and a touchdown, and while he may not have been quite as dominant as he was over the first six weeks, he was still pretty good.

Through the first seven weeks of 2023, Hill has hauled in 53 receptions and leads the NFL in both receiving yards (902) and receiving touchdowns (seven).

The 29-year-old is in his second season with the Dolphins after coming over in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs back in March 2022.

In his debut campaign in South Florida, Hill racked up 119 catches for 1,710 yards and seven scores in what marked the best season his career to date.

Hill spent the first six years of his career with the Chiefs.

The West Alabama product has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven campaigns while also earning First-Team All-Pro honors four times.

Miami will aim to get back on track when it hosts the New England Patriots next weekend.
