4. Yannick Ngakoue Finishes with 12+ Sacks

The Ngakoue sweepstakes is officially over. The Vikings landed Ngakoue for a second round pick and conditional fifth round pick. Rick Spielman strikes again with a big splash move that will improve the Vikings immensely. In is first season in Minnesota, Ngakoue will thrive.

The Vikings needed another pass rusher and they landed one of the premiere rushers in the game. Ngakoue led the NFL with six forced fumbles in 2017 with a career-high 12 sacks. He finished with eight in 15 games last season.

Ngakoue will immediately upgrade teams with his arrival in Minnesota. Because of this, he could have the best season of his career and that means a new career-high in sacks.

This is a trade that makes the Vikings better and takes them up a notch as Super Bowl contenders. If Ngakoue puts up big numbers and has a Pro Bowl season, the Vikings will be something special.
