The Tennessee Titans find themselves embroiled in an intense battle within the AFC South. With the emergence of formidable contenders like the Texans boasting CJ Stroud and DeMeco Ryans, the Jaguars rallying around Trevor Lawrence, and a resurgent Indianapolis Colts led by a fit Anthony Richardson, the Titans are under pressure to perform flawlessly in 2024.

However, they seem to be off to a promising start this offseason.

Titans head coach Brian Callahan recently shared his optimism during an appearance on 104.5 The Zone, highlighting the impressive start of Treylon Burks in the team’s offseason program.

Callahan lauded Burks’ performance, describing it as “fantastic” and indicating that it has spurred discussions within the coaching staff on how to maximize his potential within the offense this season.

“He’s gonna do a little bit of everything, you know, versatility for us. So he’ll be able to do some stuff outside,” Callahan stated. “Ultimately, it’s my role and our coaching staff’s role to find a handful of things that he can really help us with and highlight those as much as possible. Some of them might be in the slot. Some of them might be outside, but I’m fired up and I think he’s got a chance to help us.”

In an effort to bolster their offensive arsenal and provide support for quarterback Will Levis in his sophomore campaign, the Titans have made significant acquisitions. Notably, they secured former Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley with a four-year contract in free agency.

With Burks, Ridley, and DeAndre Hopkins forming their top receiving trio, the Titans have fortified their passing game. Additionally, the addition of Tony Pollard at running back aims to fill the void left by Derrick Henry’s absence.

The Titans’ strong performance in the 2024 NFL Draft has further heightened anticipation among fans, fueling hopes for a successful campaign and a shot at the AFC South title.

Should Treylon Burks emerge as a reliable WR2 option alongside Ridley, it could spell exciting prospects for Will Levis and the Titans’ offense. Burks’ undeniable potential and the impact he could wield for the team moving forward are indisputable, making him a key figure to watch in the upcoming season.
