Patrick Peterson to Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have been linked to many big names in the secondary. It began with Jamal Adams before he went to the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas even was linked to Adams’ former teammate Marcus Maye.

Patrick Peterson is a corner that has seen his name in trade rumors for a few seasons now. He is entering the final year of his contract and the Arizona Cardinals could decide to move him if they do not want to give him another large contract. This is something that Dallas would do.

They added Trevon Diggs in the 2020 NFL Draft to bolster the secondary. Peterson is a veteran, All-Pro player that would be a huge voice on and off the field.

Peterson would especially help Diggs adjust to the professional level. Jerry Jones likes to make big moves and making a trade for Peterson would be an enormous move as the Cowboys hope for a successful 2020 campaign.
