Jacob Eason, Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts
One of the biggest steals in the entire 2020 NFL Draft may have been taken in the fourth round by the Colts. Jacob Eason was projected to be a late-first or early second-round pick throughout the majority of the draft process. Unfortunately, he fell and fell hard when the draft actually came.
Eason put together a solid 2019 season with the Washington Huskies, completing 64.2 percent of his pass attempts for 3,132 yards, 23 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He has a lot of work to do, but he is in a perfect situation in Indianapolis where he can learn behind Philip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett.
Indianapolis didn’t draft Eason to play in his first two or three years. They want to develop him. However, he could be the long-term starter for the Colts when Rivers decides to retire.
