3. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Kansas City Chiefs
The first and only rookie running back on this list is Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who was taken with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Adding his ability as a dual-threat running back to an already lethal Chiefs’ offense bodes well for him.
Edwards-Helaire was an extremely high Fantasy Football pick for a rookie. Most are expecting to see him dominate right off the bat. Kansas City may split some carries between him and Darrel Williams, but Edwards-Helaire is the clear-cut top running back.
Against a very weak Houston Texans’ defense, Edwards-Helaire should get off to a quick start. He will end up with at least 100 yards on the ground and a touchdown to go along with 50 yards through the air and another score.
The Chiefs got a lot better when they selected Edwards-Helaire. He is going to be a huge Fantasy Football threat and will prove his value right off the bat in Week 1.
