New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers does not like how the Las Vegas Raiders are utilizing his former wide receiver.

During his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Rodgers expressed his displeasure with the Raiders’ usage of Davante Adams following Las Vegas’ Week 5 win over the Green Bay Packers.

“Four targets? That ain’t it,” said Rodgers.

Adams was successful on all four of his targets, logging four catches for 45 yards. However, Rodgers feels that the Raiders should be taking advantage of the superstar a lot more.

“Davante is always open,” Rodgers said. “That’s the facts. Covered to him is just different than other people. He’s got an incredible skill set. He’s got range. He’s got ball skills. He can create separation. He’s the best in the league at late hands. You just have to stick with him.”

Of course, Las Vegas’ win came against Adams’ former Packers club, and Rodgers, who spent eight seasons with Adams in Green Bay, knew the victory was extra special for the wideout.

“I thought he handled everything really well because that game meant a lot to him going back against your former team,” he said.

Overall, Adams has caught 37 passes for 442 yards and three touchdowns. He is still on pace for another monster campaign, but Rodgers feels like the Raiders aren’t using Adams quite enough in their struggling offense.

Adams has made six straight trips to the Pro Bowl and earned three consecutive First-Team All-Pro selections.

The 30-year-old was traded to Las Vegas in March 2022. During his first season with the Raiders, he hauled in 100 receptions for 1,516 yards and an NFL-leading 14 scores. Las Vegas will host the New England Patriots this coming Sunday.
