Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is impressed with what he’s seen from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Adams talked about Garoppolo during a media session with NFL reporters on July 26.
“He’s a great guy, easy to talk to, super coachable — from the coaches to him, and he listens to my feedback and how I view the game too,” Adams said. “Today was very productive, there was a lot of communication out there. We just have to continue on that path to get to where we want to be come Week 1. It’s a fun process because you get to see that progress over time.”
Garoppolo signed a three-year, $72.7 million contract with the Raiders in March. The former San Francisco 49ers star went 7-3 last season while throwing for 2,437 yards and 16 touchdowns. Raiders fans are looking forward to seeing how Adams and Garoppolo connect on the field this season in the post-Derek Carr era.
