NFL: Predicting the 2020 stats for each QB in the AFC North

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

The 2019 season was truly a special one from Lamar Jackson and it will be fascinating to see how he follows it up with the Baltimore Ravens. It’s possible he could experience somewhat of a regression, though.

Even Patrick Mahomes experienced declines in his per game output after his MVP campaign, so it would not be surprising to see Jackson have the same take place. Of course, he’ll still put up major numbers and be an elite player.

The level of impact Jackson provided with a 9.0% touchdown percentage and a league-best average of 6.9 yards per carry was nothing short of phenomenal. It’s just extremely difficult to follow that up.

The Ravens will also be looking to involve Jackson more as a passer and rely less on running sequences. That should result in a decline in his volume production in that area while experiencing a boost in passing figures.

2020 Prediction for Lamar Jackson: 3,350 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, and 9 interceptions.

Bonus: 930 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns.
