In a conversation with On3, Hatchett expressed his enthusiasm about joining the Sooners and his move to Norman.
“Out of high school Oklahoma was one of my top schools, so I already felt really comfortable down there. The biggest thing for me was getting to play for a coach like coach Bedenbaugh, the offensive line coach. He’s been able to develop guys so well since he’s been at OU. So I’m really looking forward to getting to play for him.”
This acquisition is a significant boost for the Sooners, providing them with a seasoned offensive lineman to strengthen their roster.
The road ahead for the Sooners in the SEC for 2024 promises to be challenging, as they are set to face formidable opponents such as Tennessee, Auburn, Texas, Ole Miss, Alabama, Missouri, and LSU during the regular season.
