The Green Bay Packers have been finding more success on the field in recent weeks. They have won two games in a row and three of their last four, giving them a 5-6 record on the season.

Right in the thick of the playoff race in the NFC, the Packers will face a stiff test this weekend when they host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. After defeating the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, confidence should be high for the team.

One of the stars from the game against the Lions, and a driving force behind their recent turnaround, has been quarterback Jordan Love. He has been playing at a high level during their most recent stretch of success, getting more and more comfortable as the leader of the team.

A specific area in which Love has found his rhythm is with the deep ball. He is developing chemistry with his young pass catchers and the results have been very positive. Christian Watson had the best game of his season against the Lions and rookie Jayden Reed has been one of the most productive receivers in the NFL.

Against the Lions, Watson caught five passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. Reed caught four passes for 34 yards and a touchdown, adding two rushes for 16 yards in another strong showing.

Love was on fire against the Lions, completing 22-of-32 attempts for 268 yards and three touchdowns. With that performance, he also made some Packers history. According to the team’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter, Love is the first quarterback to have three three-touchdown, zero-interception games within their first 12 starts of the season.

That is quite an impressive feat for Love, who is making a strong case to be the team’s starter not only in 2023 but beyond as well. He has done an excellent job remaining poised and collected despite some adversity at points this season.

On the season, Love has completed 60.5 percent of his passes for 2,599 yards and 19 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He is a threat on the ground as well, adding 221 yards and two scores as a rusher through 11 games.
