3. Take a Weapon from NFC Contender

The Saints are coming off three straight NFC South titles. They have gone 37-11 in the. Regular season during those years. New Orleans is a team that has struggled in the postseason he to some bad luck, but they are always a threat and will continue to be. Drew Brees is signed for two more years so why not take one of his weapons away?

Heading into the 2020 season, the Saints will have Kamara and Murray returning in the backfield along with Ty Montgomery. Murray had a decent season but he should not be considered a No. 1 back for a team like the Saints. New Orleans has two of the most exciting skill players at their position in Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas. They are both intricate parts of the offense.

If you are Green Bay, why would you not want to gain a player of Kamara’s caliber? Especially if it negatively impacts the competition. The Packers are in a position where they need to contend for the Super Bowl and adding Kamara will help them achieve that goal.
