Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is a little concerned about his team heading into the final four weeks of the regular season.

Following consecutive blowout losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys the past couple of games, Kelce said that the Eagles certainly have some issues.

“There’s a lot more to correct in losses like these and we’ve just got to go back to work,” Kelce said, via Fan Nation.

Philadelphia lost to the 49ers by a score of 42-19 in Week 13 and was then hammered by the Cowboys, 33-13, this past Sunday. The loss to Dallas dropped Philly into second place in the NFC East as a result of losing the tiebreaker to the Cowboys.

“We just didn’t play up to the standard,” added Kelce. “We’ve played a lot of high-profile games here before and executed well. I don’t think it’s the magnitude, I mean these are good teams and you can’t make mistakes against good teams. We’ve done far too much of that.”

The Eagles turned the ball over three times against Dallas and were penalized 10 times in the loss. They were also dominated in time of possession.

While Philadelphia is still 10-3, there is no doubt that the team has problems that could make things very difficult for it to repeat as NFC champions.

For example, the Eagles rank 22nd in the NFL in yards allowed and 28th in scoring defense. Their pass defense ranks 28th, and even their passing offense, which placed ninth in the league a year ago, is just 13th in spite of having one of the best receiving corps in football.

Luckily for Kelce and Co., Philadelphia has a relatively easy schedule ahead. It will take on the sliding Seattle Seahawks next week before sandwiching two games with the New York Giants around a contest with the Arizona Cardinals.

Jason Kelce has been starting at center for Philly since 2011 and has made six trips to the Pro Bowl while also earning five First-Team All-Pro selections.
