The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to sign former New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

It’s a one-year, $4.69 million deal. The money is fully guaranteed, and the Patriots—who released Parker on Monday—will pay $1.2 million of it.

“DeVante is thrilled and grateful to become a Philadelphia Eagle and to help this elite organization win a championship,” said Parker’s agent Jimmy Gould.

Parker is coming off of a lackluster 2023 campaign in which he played 13 games and logged 33 catches for 394 yards without a touchdown.

The 31-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Louisville, was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 14th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Parker spent the first seven years of his career with the Dolphins and experienced varying degrees of success.

After a disappointing first four seasons in which he topped out at 744 yards, Parker broke out in 2019, hauling in 72 receptions for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns.

The following year, however, Parker regressed to the mean, catching 63 passes for 793 yards and four scores. He spent one more season in Miami, snaring 40 balls for 515 yards while reaching the end zone twice in 2021.

Parker then proceeded to join New England, where he registered 31 grabs for 539 yards and three touchdowns in his debut campaign in Foxborough.

The Louisville, Ky. native may not be the same wide out he was during his peak days in South Beach, but as the Eagles’ No. 3 receiver behind A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith, he may excel.
