What To Expect From Henry Ruggs III In 2020

Quite simply, the rookie wideout is going to prove why he was a top-15 pick. He has legitimate star potential to begin his career and the Raiders are going to look his way often throughout the year.

Derek Carr has received a ton of criticism over the last couple of years. His career was derailed a bit due to injuries, but the talent is still there. It wasn’t long ago that he was considered to be one of the top up-and-coming star quarterbacks in the NFL and talked about as a potential MVP candidate.

Ruggs will bring a much needed dynamic to the Raiders’ offense. They have lacked playmakers at the wide receiver position.

Due to his speed, Ruggs will be able to take the top off of defenses and make big plays down the field. He is also a capable route runner. The Raiders will be able to take deep shots with him and work to get him the ball in the open field.

It is never easy to predict an entire season for any players, especially a rookie who no one has seen play at the NFL level.

But, with that being said, it would be reasonable to expect great numbers from Ruggs. Around 70 receptions for 1,000 yards and seven touchdowns would be an ideal target. That’s right, a 1,000-yard season as a rookie.

Las Vegas made the right decision by spending their first-round pick on Ruggs. He is going to make the Raiders’ offense much more dangerous.

All of that being said, Henry Ruggs III is going to be a star. If he stays healthy and the team continues building the smart way, the Raiders’ offense is going to be lethal for years to come.
