2. Everson Griffen

Similar to Wake, Everson Griffen spent his first 10 seasons in the NFL with the same team, playing with the Minnesota Vikings from 2009-2019. Griffen, a former fourth-round selection of the Vikings, became a defensive captain in Minnesota and was a mainstay on their defensive line.

However, due to Minnesota’s dire cap situation, Griffen and the Vikings agreed it was best for him to opt-out of his contract. Even though it’s more likely for him to be playing elsewhere in 2020, Griffen and Minnesota haven’t ruled out the possibility of a reunion.

Since entering the NFL in 2010, Griffen has notched a total of 74.5 sacks and 176 quarterback hits. Just a season ago, the USC product proved at 32 years old that he still has something left in the tank, tallying eight sacks, giving him 26.5 sacks in the last three seasons alone.
