1. Jadeveon Clowney

When free agency kicked off, everyone was curious to see where Jadeveon Clowney would decide to play in 2020 and possibly beyond. But the former No. 1 pick is coming off of surgery for a lingering core injury and his asking price has been too steep for team’s liking.

As a result, Clowney remains in free agency and could be forced to sign a one-year deal to give him another chance for a massive payday in 2021. Following a trade to the Seattle Seahawks, Clowney would proceed to record only three sacks and four forced fumbles in 2019.

In his defense, he dealt with a core injury all season and he appears to be more motivated than ever heading into the 2020 NFL season. Given that, whatever team — whether it be a return to the Seahawks — is going to be getting a valuable edge defender in the latter portion of the offseason.

Potential Landing Spots: Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks
