Lamar Jackson Will Win MVP Again

Lamar Jackson was incredible last season. This year will be more of the same. If any quarterback can throw over 3,000 yards and run for 1,000, he’ll be in MVP consideration. Throw in all the highlights, a high powered offense, and a top seed in the playoffs, and it is the perfect combination to win the honor.

Don’t be surprised if Jackson’s passing numbers improve this season. While Jackson led the NFL in passing touchdowns in 2019, his passing yards were not very impressive. With Marquise Brown rising as a breakout wide receiver, those passing yards will experience a boost as well.

The NFL hasn’t seen back-to-back MVPs since Peyton Manning did it over a decade ago. However, the NFL has never really seen a player like Jackson. His efficiency when throwing combined with his lethality when running is the perfect combination.

If the Ravens play at the same level they did last year, Lamar Jackson should clear some space on his shelf for another MVP trophy.
