The Ravens Will Break Their Own Rushing Record
The Baltimore Ravens set a single-season rushing record last season. The team rushed for 3,296 rushing yard, breaking the record previously held by the 1978 New England Patriots. While the previous record stood for over 40 years, the new record may not even last one year. Baltimore could break their own record this season.
Although the Ravens lost their All-Pro Guard Marshall Yanda, the offensive line is still very solid. The added threat of Lamar Jackson keeps defenses on their toes as well. Using Jackson on QB designed runs, or QB options adds another blocker for him and it forces defensive ends to play contain.
Baltimore also added a talented rookie running back in J.K. Dobbins. The addition of Dobbins to the rotation of Ingram, Edwards, and Hill means all the backs will have fresh legs. With every back fresh, it will reduce injuries and allow the backs to play more effectively.
