Week 10 was a big one for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Bekcham Jr. It was the first time that he would be facing off against his former team, the Cleveland Browns since they released him during the 2021 season.

Beckham missed the first matchup of the season between the Ravens and Browns in Week 4, a 28-3 victory by his team. Unfortunately, this time around, it was Cleveland who got the last laugh with a 33-31 victory.

Dustin Hopkins knocked a field goal through the uprights as time expired to give the Browns an impressive come-from-behind victory. Baltimore led by as many as 15 points in the second half, but were unable to hold onto the lead.

The Ravens were ahead by so much courtesy of Beckham. He took a slant route for a 40-yard touchdown in the third quarter, giving his team a 24-9 lead. It was ultimately not enough, as turnovers late in the game doomed Baltimore.

After the game, several Cleveland players took to social media to celebrate their victory. One of those players was tight end David Njoku, who received a playful message from Beckham on his post.

“See u down the road,” is what Beckham wrote, adding a middle finger emoji in what can be taken as a joking matter. There is certainly a chance these two teams meet for a third time this season, as the AFC North looks like it could produce four playoff teams.

Depending on how the standing shake out, there is a real possibility of an AFC North showdown occurring during Super Wild Card Weekend or the Divisional Round. Should that happen, it will be an emotional game for Beckham despite having no hard feelings about the ugly divorce.

“I mean, I made great bonds and memories with those guys over there,” Beckham told reporters on November 9. “Once you’re on a team, you build a brotherhood that lasts way longer than anything else.

“Not to be like, ‘Oh, it’s another game to me,’ but it will be fun to go against these guys who are friends and brothers of mine. But definitely no animosity on my end, for sure. A lot of love and respect.”

Beckham’s tenure with the Browns was a tough one. He went to Cleveland as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL after the start to his career he had with the New York Giants. But, things never really panned out as hoped.

Injuries and ineffective quarterback play plagued his time with the Browns. After missing the 2022 season recovering from his ACL surgery, Beckham is hoping he can help get the Ravens a Super Bowl title as he did with the Los Angeles Rams.
