Drew Brees Will Record No Turnovers

This is a good game for Brees to get right. The Lions defense has been down for many years. This led to them drafting Jeff Okudah with the third pick in April’s draft. He came up with his first interception last week. This will not happen against Brees and the Saints.

There will be room to operate in this one for the Saints’ offense. This could be the breakout game. The Saints will have to hang onto the ball in this one. Brees should use short throws to wear the Lions down in this one.

The Saints’ offense uses a lot of short throws and slants over the middle for first downs.  The game plan should be simple in this one. New Orleans is elite at getting the defense to creep up before beating them deep.

This game plan limits the amount of situations where Brees could make a mistake. If he doesn’t not turn the ball over, this game could be one-sided and the Saints could put up some points.
