The 2024 offseason has marked the end of an era for the Tennessee Titans. It started with head coach Mike Vrabel being fired after six years on the job. Moving on along with him are several key players from the roster.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derrick Henry both hit free agency. Henry has already signed a two-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens while Tannehill remains a free agent. This is a continuation of the teardown that Ran Carthon began last offseason when Tennessee moved on from several veterans.

While the Titans are in a clear rebuild, they have still shown some interest in adding upgrades to the roster. They are one of the teams connected to Kansas City Chiefs star cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, who had the non-exclusive franchise tag placed on him.

NFL News & Rumors: Arik Armstead, Jerome Baker, 2024 NFL Free Agency, Tennessee Titans Updates

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, he isn’t the only veteran the Titans are interested in. Russini is reporting that Tennessee is reporting that the recently released Arik Armstead is also on their radar.

It should come as no surprise that the Titans could be a suitor for Armstead. The San Francisco 49ers released him this offseason, where Carthon and he spent some time together. They will face competition, as Armstead is expected to have several suitors around the league.

Armstead spent the first nine seasons of his career in San Francisco and would be an upgrade for several defensive fronts. He isn’t the only veteran that the Titans are showing an interest in, as they have also scheduled a visit with former Miami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker.

NFL News & Rumors: Arik Armstead, Jerome Baker, 2024 NFL Free Agency, Tennessee Titans Updates

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Baker has a meeting scheduled with Tennessee for Thursday. After spending the first six seasons of his career in South Beach, he was waived as the team worked to get under the salary cap.

It would be a coming of full circle moment should Baker end up with the Titans. Last offseason, the Dolphins signed Tennessee linebacker David Long Jr. away in free agency. Baker could help fill his void after being released by Miami.
