This Colts-Bills Blockbuster Trade Sends Stefon Diggs To Indianapolis

Could the Indianapolis Colts try to swing a trade for Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs?

Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton poses the possibility.

Trade speculation is swirling around Diggs, who had a rather strange 2023 campaign in which he posted five 100-yard performances in his first six games but then did not reach that mark again the rest of the season.

This is fueled questions about Diggs’ role in the Bills’ offense and about his relationship with quarterback Josh Allen, and while the star wide out has insisted everything is fine, some believe that Buffalo will attempt to move him this offseason.

Should the Bills place Diggs on the trade block, there will be no shortage of suitors, but Moton thinks the Colts could be one of the teams who show the most interest.

Moton proposes that Indianapolis could send the 15th overall pick and a fifth-rounder to Buffalo in exchange for Diggs.

The Colts also have to figure out what they want to do with fellow receiver Michael Pittman Jr., who is slated to hit free agency next month.

The good news for Indy is that it has expansive cap room going into the offseason, so it can easily make a trade for Diggs while also re-signing Pittman.

That would provide the Colts with one of the most dynamic receiving duos in football and would also give young quarterback Anthony Richardson a great head start in his sophomore campaign.

Stefon Diggs spent the first five years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings before being dealt to the Bills in March 2020. Since then, he has gone on to make four straight Pro Bowl appearances while also earning a First-Team All-Pro selection.
