Become more involved as a receiver
Dating back to his days at Alabama, Henry became known as a running back that could use his sheer size and athleticism to run through defenders. So far in his career, it’s safe to say that Henry’s been able to carve out a nice role for himself with the Titans by pummeling any defenders that get in his path.
With that being said, if Henry hopes to net a lucrative contract at the running back position, he’ll need to prove he can be a receiving threat out of the backfield. Throughout his four seasons with the Titans, Henry has combined for just 57 receptions, 578 yards, and three touchdowns through the air.
No one is saying that Henry needs to produce like Christian McCaffrey or Alvin Kamara in the passing game. Though, at the least, it would be beneficial for Henry to hone in on becoming a more reliable receiving target in Tennessee’s offense next season.
