2. Devin Funchess Brings A Much-Needed Big Body

While Funchess isn’t going to wow anyone with his speed, he isn’t a slow wideout for his size. Standing in at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, Funchess will be a fun target for Rodgers this season.

The Packers have had a lot of size at wide receiver with Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. However, they have not had the kind of size that Funchess has to go along with a proven ability to make plays. Funchess isn’t going to rack up 1,000 receiving yards, but he absolutely could be a 750-yard threat with a handful of touchdowns.

Green Bay is hoping that Funchess can simply be a solid No. 2 option. Even if he slides in at No. 3 on the depth chart, he will be an upgrade. It may not be a huge addition, but it is one that could make a difference.
