1. The Colts Are In A Clear Win-Now Mode

Finally, there is one obvious reason that the Colts should pursue a trade for Odell Beckham Jr. They are looking to win now and win big.

Jim Irsay has been talking about Super Bowl contention over the past couple of years. The moves they have made this offseason shows that they are trying to make a push for that. Ballard and company have been aggressive for a reason.

Beckham absolutely has drama that comes with him. The Colts have shied away from players that have drama. However, it’s time to begin trying to bring players in to the culture that they have created.

Acquiring Beckham would give them a huge boost towards competing in the AFC. An offense including Rivers, Beckham, Hilton, Marlon Mack, and the offensive line that the Colts have put together would be potent. Ballard should absolutely call the Browns to see what it would take to get Beckham.
