Why the Saints should take a look at TCU WR Jalen Reagor in the NFL Draft

3. His Production Speaks for Itself

For those of you who have not had the opportunity to watch Jalen Reagor play, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about him.

During the 2019 season with the TCU Horned Frogs, Reagor ended up catching 43 passes for 611 yards and five touchdowns. Those numbers may not look impressive, so let’s look back on his 2018 season. In that year, he caught 72 passes for 1,061 yards and nine touchdowns.

Reagor is known as a speedster, which is exactly what the Saints need. Michael Thomas is the best possession wide receiver in the game and broke the NFL receptions record formerly owned by Colts’ legend Marvin Harrison. Adding a threat like Reagor would take a lot of pressure off of Thomas.

While he may not be talked about as the top wide receiver in this year’s draft class, he is exactly the kind of player the Saints need.
