Leading up to the NFL Draft, some scouts had the duo out of Alabama, Henry Ruggs and Jerry Jeudy, as the two best receivers entering the draft. They ended up being the first two receivers off the board, with Ruggs heading to Las Vegas to join the Raiders, while Jeudy will head to Mile High to play for the Denver Broncos.
Both of these stars have their standout traits that set them apart from the rest of the receivers in this year’s class. Ruggs has unworldly speed, as evidenced by his outstanding 4.27 40-yard-dash time. Jeudy was heralded for his precise route running and ability to create separation.
They’re both entering ideal situations, and they’ll face off against each other twice a year in the AFC West. But when it’s all said and done, Jeudy should have the better NFL career.
