Green Bay Packers: 3 Bold Predictions for Randall Cobb in 2018

Randall Cobb has been one of the league’s borderline star wide receivers throughout his entire NFL career. He has been one of the Green Bay Packers’ most exciting players, but he has also been one of the team’s most disappointing players. Health issues have slowed him down over the years, but he will have yet another chance to prove himself in 2018.

New general manager Brian Gutekunst made the tough decision to move on from Jordy Nelson this offseason. He released the longtime Packers’ star after signing Jimmy Graham and Muhammad Wilkerson. Now, the Packers are a bit thin on the wide receiver front.

Heading into the 2018 season, the Packers currently have Davante Adams and Cobb as their top two wide receivers. After those two names, things get a bit murky. Geronimo Allison has a chance to be the No. 3 receiver, but there are also three rookie wideout’s that the Packers could play.

Graham is going to have to play the role of a wide receiver at times. He will certainly be asked to produce like a receiver. Aaron Rodgers is going to look to Graham early and often every week.

That being said, Cobb may just be the most important player for the Packers’ Super Bowl chances this season. He caught 66 passes for 653 yards and four touchdowns last season.

What three bold predictions can be made for Cobb heading into the 2018 NFL season with the Packers?
