New York Giants: 3 Biggest Individual Performances from Week 10 Win vs. 49ers

The New York Giants were able to squeak out their second victory of the season in Week 10. They defeated the short-handed San Francisco 49ers, 27-23.

The Nick Mullens fan club died down a little bit after last night, after he failed to repeat his success from Week 9. The Giants improved to 2-7 on the year, while the 49ers slipped to 2-8.

Both teams are essentially playing for pride at this point, with both team’s playoff chances being slim to none. It’s a more disappointing season for the Giants however, as the 49ers lost their starting quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo earlier this year.

The Giants on the other hand, have plenty of talent, but nothing has gone according to script for them. Their signings on the offensive line haven’t panned out yet, while Eli Manning has struggled.

Manning did perform decent last night, but it remains to be seen if he can consistently play like that. Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham continue to be the engines that keep this team going.

Barkley didn’t have his best game of the season last night, but still put up a respectable 100 hundred yards from scrimmage.

There were a few guys who stood out among the rest of the Giants (see what I did there), to help them secure a victory in Week 10.
