2 huge reasons the Packers should go all-out for Robby Anderson

Green Bay Can’t Spend Too Much Money, But They Need Value

Secondly, and finally, the Packers will not have nearly as big of a budget to spend in free agency this year as they did last offseason. They will not be able to go out and sign three players to big deals like they did with Preston Smith, Za’Darius Smith, and Adrian Amos. That means they will need to bring in big talent on a reasonable deal.

Anderson is a great wide receiver who would compliment Davante Adams well. He also won’t be commanding elite money. Green Bay could sign Anderson and still have some money to work with.

Bringing in a deep threat like Anderson is always a great move. Assuming his troubles from the past are over with, Green Bay would be getting the playmaker they need. The Packers cannot afford to stand pat at the receiver position and Anderson is the best receiver in their price range.
