2. Rodgers Should Try To Recruit A Big-Name Weapon To Green Bay
Secondly, the Packers are going to look to add another weapon or two for Rodgers this offseason. It was clear last year that Davante Adams cannot do it all by himself. Allen Lazard is a quality football player, but having him at No. 2 on the wide receiver depth chart simply isn’t going to cut it.
Rodgers may have struggled at times, but he had pretty rough options at times. The Packers have solid receivers, but nothing special outside of Adams. Even at tight end, Jimmy Graham looked slow and was unable to create separation in most games.
Having a quarterback like Rodgers to recruit a receiver will help a lot. Names like A.J. Green and Robby Anderson would make a lot of sense for the Packers. Perhaps a trade for Odell Beckham Jr. could also be an option?
