The last time the Jacksonville Jaguars made the playoffs in 2017, they deployed a secondary that featured the likes of Jalen Ramsey, A.J. Bouye, Barry Church, and Tashaun Gipson. However, after trading Bouye this offseason, none of those players listed remain on Jacksonville’s roster.
With that in mind, the Jaguars should be in the market to bolster the secondary for next season. More specifically, Jacksonville should be looking to add some cornerbacks in free agency and in the 2020 NFL Draft.
When free agency got underway, it was reported that Darqueze Dennard agreed to a deal with the Jaguars. But after failing to finalize the contract, Dennard was no longer going to be joining Jacksonville in 2020.
Even though Jacksonville could be fixated on drafting a cornerback, it would be wise for them to add an experienced veteran too. In light of that, here are three cornerbacks the Jaguars should still target in free agency.
