Finally, the Patriots could look to help fill the void left by the losses of Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins. They had an elite defense last season and they don’t want to see that defense fall apart. Taking an inside linebacker could make a lot of sense.

Kenneth Murray is an athletic monster at inside linebacker and would be a huge playmaker for New England. He racked up 102 total tackles last season for the Sooners to go along with four sacks and four defended passes.

Athleticism is one of the key things that NFL teams look for in inside linebackers these days. Murray will be able to play sideline to sideline and can blitz when needed. His speed is obvious and the Patriots would be getting a huge upgrade for their defense with this selection.
