3 offensive targets for the Cowboys in the second round of the NFL Draft

Cole Kmet, Tight End, Notre Dame

Let’s not sugar coat it at this point in time, a return to Dallas for Jason Witten is seeming less and less likely. Even if he does return, the Cowboys could be looking for more talent at the position.

Cole Kmet could come into play in the second round for the Cowboys. Standing in at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, Kmet is a big body that has raw talent for Dallas to develop. He caught 43 passes for 515 yards and six touchdowns in 2019 for the Fighting Irish.

Dallas doesn’t have to get a tight end this offseason, but Kmet could make sense. This draft doesn’t have great tight end talent, so the Cowboys could choose to go a different direction.
