Denzel Mims
If there was one wide receiver that improved their draft stock the most at the NFL Combine, it was Denzel Mims out of Baylor. When watching Mims, it was hard to gauge how good he was due to the inconsistent play at quarterback at Baylor.
However, at the combine, Mims proved that he’s an athletic freak and someone that can insert himself into the discussion as a first-round pick. The senior wideout recorded an impressive 4.38 40-yard dash on Thursday and was in the 90th percentile in the rest of the events.
For the Bills, they could use someone like Mims, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, on the outside. In his final season at Baylor, Mims recorded 66 receptions for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns.
With his taller frame, Mims has an impressive catch radius and excels at catching 50/50 balls. Adding Mims would give Allen and the Bills someone else that could create plays down the field.
