Jeff Gladney, Cornerback, TCU

One position of need for the Cowboys to focus on in the NFL Draft this year is cornerback. Quite frankly, there is a good chance that they will take one in the first round. Taking one at No. 51 would be a fallback option if they don’t go that route earlier.

Jeff Gladney would be an intriguing target for them at No. 51 if they’re still prioritizing a cornerback. He racked up 31 tackles to go along with 0.5 sacks, one interception, and 14 defended passes. Those numbers show a bit of the potential that he has.

At 6-foot-0 and 183 pounds, Gladney doesn’t have great size, but he makes up for it with speed and playmaking. Dallas wouldn’t fix their secondary completely with his move, but Gladney would be a very solid addition and would help take the defense to the next level.
