Michael Pittman Jr.
With Robby Anderson leaving in free agency, the Jets now have a receiving corps that includes Jamison Crowder, Quincy Enunwa, and Breshad Perriman. Seeing that Perriman signed a one-year deal, New York could use a rookie receiver that is on a cheap contract for a few years.
If the Jets want to give Darnold the best chance to succeed, they have to surround him with more weapons in the passing attack. One wide receiver that should pique New York’s interest at No. 48 is Michael Pittman Jr. out of USC.
To finish his collegiate career at USC, Pittman caught 101 passes for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2019. Standing at 6-foot-4, nearly 225 pounds, Pittman is a big-bodied receiver that shines when given a chance to make a contested catch. As an added bonus, Pittman is also remarkable blocker in the run game.
