3 players the Buccaneers could target at No. 45 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Clyde Edwards-Helaire

If the Buccaneers aren’t able to get Swift or if they are interested in another running back, they’ll still have a few viable options to choose from. The one running back that seems to make the most sense for the Buccaneers is Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Amid LSU’s historic season in 2019, Edwards-Helaire scampered for 1,414 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground. As a receiver, Edwards-Helaire caught 55 passes for 453 yards and another touchdown.

Despite being 5-foot-7, Edwards-Helaire runs with a physical mindset and is a capable receiver out of the backfield. After a productive junior season at LSU, Edwards-Helaire could be thrust into another ideal situation with the Buccaneers and Brady.
