2. The Jets could use a red-zone target
The Jets finished their first season with Adam Gase as their head coach. In his first season, New York’s offense failed to take advantage of their opportunities in the red zone.
As an illustration, the Jets scored a touchdown on only 54.55 percent of their red-zone possessions (20th in the NFL). Given that information, New York could use someone that can be a reliable option near the end zone.
When Bryant was with the Cowboys, he was an extremely physical wide receiver that could fend off defenders. Even if he can’t stretch the field anymore, Bryant could be an effective weapon in the red zone.
