Let’s just make this a bold statement. Talent wins football games and a team can never have too much talent at any position. Oakland has a few holes to fill this offseason, but they have to take the best player available in the NFL Draft.

Picking at No. 12 gives them quite a few directions, but playmakers don’t come around every single year. Lamb has playmaking potential and the Raiders simply cannot afford to pass on the kind of talent that he brings to the field.

Lamb may very well end up being the best wide receiver from this draft class. Jerry Jeudy is a quality player, but Lamb’s raw talent could take him farther at the NFL level. Oakland should draft Lamb without even thinking twice if they have the opportunity.
