3 reasons Titans QB Ryan Tannehill will replicate his 2019 success

Continuity with Organization

It’s not the easiest of situations to head to a new team with the label of being a draft bust as was the case for Ryan Tannehill. He also had to compete with a player in Marcus Mariota that the Tennessee Titans had invested heavily into previously.

Instead, Tannehill is coming off a contract extension with an established familiarity and sense of continuity with the Titans. They will be able to expand on what they had already accomplished and on what was used in their offense as opposed to starting fresh.

The level of continuity within the Titans coaching staff from Tannehill’s perspective is significant. Tennessee managed to retain Mike Vrabel as head coach, Arthur Smith as offensive coordinator, and Patrick O’Hara as quarterbacks coach.

By already understanding his role and having previous success with his key teammates and the coaching staff, Tannehill should be able to hit the ground running in 2020.
