Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans was one of the surprising teams of the 2019 season, falling just one game short of advancing to the Super Bowl. With Mike Vrabel as their head coach, the Titans play a physical brand of football on offense and defense.
Similar to the Bills, Tennessee’s defense would be even more lethal with a better pass rush. There’s no doubt that the decision to sign Cameron Wake didn’t pan out as expected for the Titans in 2019.
So far in free agency, Tennessee signed Vic Beasley in hopes he could provide a boost with a change of scenery. Seeing that the Titans have $21.6 million in cap space, that could be allotted to Clowney this offseason.
Rather than throw a dart in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Titans could find a premier edge defender in free agency. Signing with Tennessee and Vrabel could be exactly what Clowney needs to earn himself a lucrative contract in 2021.
