Entering Week 2 action, the Minnesota Vikings were hoping to rebound from their disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 1. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Minnesota ended up looking even worse and lost to the Indianapolis Colts by a final score of 28-11.

Kirk Cousins put together one of the worst games of his career. He completed 11 of his 26 pass attempts for 113 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions. That kind of game will make a team question their starter and keep a much closer eye on him.

While the Vikings did have success on the ground with Dalvin Cook, they didn’t use him enough. Cook racked up 63 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, averaging 4.5 yards per carry. Rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson led the team in receiving with three catches for 44 yards.

Defensively, the Vikings gave some effort, but it was nowhere near enough. Eric Wilson did come through with an interception against Philip Rivers, but they gave up 28 points and over 100 yards to rookie running back Jonathan Taylor on the ground.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four bold predictions for the Vikings in Week 3 as they take on the Titans.
